We will cover you for any medical claims due to coronavirus as long as you are not travelling against the World Health Organisation or any other government body’s advice in your home country or the country you are travelling to advice against travel exists.
Regarding cancellation, we will cover you if you, a close relative or travelling companion become ill, quarantined or are refused boarding due to Coronavirus, subject to a medical certificate or an official test result.
Any new policy purchased will not cover cancellation due to current or future World Health Organisation or any other government body’s advice in your home country or the country you are travelling to restricting travel due to a pandemic, such as Coronavirus, or if you choose not to travel.
For any new policy purchased, or trips booked, all other benefits will continue to apply.
We will not cover any claim where your travel to a country or specific area or event to which the Travel Advice Section of the Department of Foreign affairs or the World Health Organisation has advised the public not to travel to.
